Throughout the week we will highlight all the amazing work of the many organizations that partner with the HOPE National Resource Center and who use the HOPE framework to support children, families, and communities. <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The HOPE framework centers around the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/positiveexperience.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/The-Four-Building-Blocks-of-HOPE-Handout.pdf\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Four Building Blocks of HOPE<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, or key types of <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/positiveexperience.org\/blog\/why-pces-are-important-for-all-children-and-families\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">positive childhood experiences<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (PCEs): safe and supportive relationships that are critical for children to develop into healthy, resilient adults; safe, stable, equitable environments to live, learn, and play; opportunities for social and civic engagement to develop a sense of belonging; and opportunities for emotional growth.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>To declare this an official week of HOPE, we have created a <a href=\"https:\/\/positiveexperience.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/Week-of-HOPE-Proclamation-Fillable.pdf\">proclamation<\/a> to be submitted to elected officials to make the week of March 7 the official Week of HOPE. This would allow us to share and spread the HOPE framework to all communities across the country. This process is straightforward and easy to do: to make this an official Week of HOPE please <a href=\"https:\/\/positiveexperience.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/Week-of-HOPE-Proclamation-Fillable.pdf\">fill-in this proclamation<\/a> and send it to elected officials in your community such as the mayor, city council, governor, or even your member of Congress.<\/p>\n<p>The highlight of the week will be the <a href=\"https:\/\/positiveexperience.org\/blog\/ringing-in-a-hopeful-new-year\/\">Second Annual HOPE Summit: Growing HOPE<\/a>. Keynote speaker Wendy Ellis will speak about building resilient communities, and we will all have an opportunity to hear from those who have moved this field forward, who inspire us, and to engage in hands on workshops. We will also be sharing new resources online and activities for families and children, posting special blogs and podcasts featuring members of our <a href=\"https:\/\/positiveexperience.org\/about-us\/networks\/\">HOPE National Advisory Board<\/a>.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This year we will be hosting a Week of HOPE, this will take place March 7 \u2013 11, 2022.
