During the Week of HOPE, we hosted events and shared new resources that honor and promote the widespread use of positive childhood experiences.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]\n<h3 id=\"anti-racism-training\">Anti-Racism Training<\/h3>\n<p>Monday, March 18 | 2 PM ET<\/p>\n<p>We kick off the Week of HOPE with a new anti-racism training. This training has been developed in partnership with <a href=\"https:\/\/cssp.org\/our-work\/projects\/the-strengthening-families-national-network\/\">Strengthening Families<\/a> and a member from our <a href=\"https:\/\/positiveexperience.org\/about-us\/networks\/\">Family and Community Experts of HOPE Council<\/a>. This training dives deep into an Anti-racist practice and discusses the intersections of the HOPE framework and Strengthening Families. You will have a better idea of what racism is and can look like in health care settings, and how to intentionally practice and imbed Anti-racism in these settings. The recording will be available soon.[\/vc_column_text]<div class=\"vcex-spacing wpex-w-100 wpex-clear\" style=\"height:20px;\"><\/div>[vc_column_text]\n<h3 id=\"anti-racism-press-conference\">New Model | Anti-Racism Model Reveal Press Conference<\/h3>\n<p>Tuesday, March 19 | 2 PM ET<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rwjf.org\/\">Robert Wood Johnson Foundation<\/a>, awarded FAAITH, a new Trenton-based NGO, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tuftsmedicine.org\/\">Tufts Medical Center<\/a>, and the <a href=\"http:\/\/shilohcdc.org\/\">Shiloh Community Development Corporation<\/a> a one-year planning grant to expand a congregationally based, faith-infused home visiting program to address racial disparities and inequities. The project, <a href=\"https:\/\/positiveexperience.org\/research\/faaith-faith-leaders-allied-and-aligned-to-institute-trust-in-the-home-and-hope\/\">FAAITH and HOPE for equitable systems alignment<\/a>, supports <a href=\"https:\/\/shilohtrenton.com\/pastor\">Reverend Darrell Armstrong<\/a>, Founder of FAAITH and Pastor of Shiloh Baptist Church, and his efforts to integrate the HOPE framework into his ministry work and that of other faith leaders. Now at the end of this project, we will share a new anti-racism model developed from this project. Join the press conference to hear more about the new model and the findings from this project. We asked members of the HOPE community to nominate an individual or organization for one of the Building Blocks. Nominations are now closed. In the nominations, folks shared stories of their nominees dedication to promoting and practicing positive childhood experiences. This event is to honor those who have made a positive impact, fostering a culture of growth, support, and excellence.[\/vc_column_text]<div class=\"vcex-spacing wpex-w-100 wpex-clear\" style=\"height:20px;\"><\/div>[vc_column_text]\n<h3 id=\"childrens-book-character-reveal\">Children\u2019s Book Character Reveal &#8211; Presented by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.redsoxfoundation.org\/\">Red Sox Foundation<\/a><\/h3>\n<p>Thursday, March 21 | 11 AM ET<\/p>\n<p>Later this year, we will release a new children\u2019s book called Clover\u2019s Hopeful Day. During the Week of HOPE, we will reveal each of the characters featured in this book. The illustrations are being drawn by a group of youth located in Portland, Oregon. We are excited to showcase our partnership with the young illustrators and have our story come to life through their artistic interpretations. Each organization will discuss changes to their organizational practices, barriers they experienced, and how they overcame those barriers.
