Reflecting on the spread of the HOPE framework<\/h2>\n

As we approach 2026, it is wild to pause and reflect on how far the HOPE National Resource Center has come. When I joined the team in January 2021, the five of us were just getting started! We were first getting the word out on positive childhood experiences<\/a> (PCEs), the HOPE framework, and the Four Building Blocks of HOPE<\/a>. We offered our first Introduction to HOPE workshops, often with the amazing team at the Montana Institute<\/a>. When we conducted polls after training sessions, hardly anyone had previously heard of PCEs!<\/p>\n

My, how far we\u2019ve come! In Fall 2021, after some strong urging from partners at Michigan\u2019s Early Childhood Investment Corps<\/a> and the YMCA of San Diego County<\/a>, we launched our Train the Facilitator<\/a> program, where we train individuals on how to deliver their own Introduction to HOPE workshops in their communities. Now, four years later, we have expanded our certification programs and have nearly 700 certified HOPE Facilitators, 135 HOPE Champions<\/a>, and 15 HOPE-Inspired organizations<\/a> spreading the HOPE framework and creating more equitable access to PCEs for children in the United States, Australia, Chile, the Netherlands, and around the world![\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=””]\n

We listen and hear you<\/h2>\n

We have always followed your feedback. We created resources and training when you come to us and say there\u2019s a need for them. When HOPE Facilitators Kathleen Harnish McKune and Karen Dickson told us that parents who were incarcerated needed the HOPE framework, we collaborated to co-create a Four Building of HOPE handout<\/a> just for these caregivers. <\/em>When the National Association of City and County Health Officials<\/a> (NACCHO) identified an opportunity to bring the HOPE framework to substance misuse prevention, intervention, and treatment, we leapt at the opportunity to create an online course<\/a> tailored to this sector!\u00a0 <\/em><\/p>\n

The HOPE framework is flexible and adaptable. And it is most relevant when it\u2019s used by the professionals and community members who work directly with children and families. We have always followed your lead on what this looks like.<\/p>\n

And we hear you now. We know that the financial landscape is shifting for many of our friends and partners. Previously reliable funding sources have shifted gears or disappeared entirely. We know some of you are struggling to stay afloat. We hear you. And it\u2019s important to us that we keep engaging with our communities to prioritize access to PCEs for every child.\u00a0 So, we\u2019re re-thinking how we offer training and technical assistance<\/a> (TTA) at the HOPE National Resource Center.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=””]\n

How our prices will change in 2026<\/h2>\n

Starting in January 2026, we will offer flexible pricing<\/a> so that our TTA is within reach of anyone who wants to start practicing the HOPE framework. We shifted to a tiered system based on your organization\u2019s annual budget. These tiers allow us to ensure affordability for all organizations, from local clinics and small schools to national nonprofits and state agencies.<\/p>\n

We\u2019re lowering our prices for the smallest organizations so that the implementation of the HOPE framework can become a sustainable reality. We\u2019re also pairing our Champion registration with a deeply discounted Organizational Certification. Beginning in January 2026, all Champions will have the opportunity to guide an organization or department to become certified as HOPE-Informed, all included in the HOPE Champion registration cost. And, as always, we offer scholarships and discounts for all TTA opportunities \u2013 just ask<\/a>!<\/p>\n
